This year will be the thirty-fifth of my teaching career.  I am a graduate of Redemptorist High School and Louisiana State University.  I have been married to my husband Ken for thirty-fourth years, and we have two sons:  Ken II and Kyle.  Ken and his wife Amy have a gorgeous seventeen month old daughter named after me--Anna Marie.  Imagine!  All of our young ones live in Austin, TX.  Literature and writing are great passions of mine, as well as teaching young people. 

Daily reading, writing, and studying assignments will be an extremely important part of the course.  Daily assignments can be made up only because of an excused absence.
