Alicia Vidaurreta was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States in 1966. She majored in Art and Foreign Languages and has traveled all over the world. She speaks 4 languages fluently and worked many years with Pan American World Airways before joining the faculty at Broadmoor in 1986. After teaching French here for many years, she returned to LSU for her Masters Degree in Library and Information Science. "Ms.V", as she is best known, has been librarian at Broadmoor since 1997.
